Start with the service task
Identify what must remain reachable and how much hand or tool clearance future work requires. A clean-looking opening that does not provide usable service clearance is not a successful installation.
Installation planning sequence
- Identify the service point. Confirm what must remain reachable and the hand or tool clearance needed for future work.
- Measure the narrowest opening. Record width and height at multiple points and use the narrowest unobstructed values.
- Check the cavity. Locate pipes, wiring, studs, blocking, and other obstructions before marking the wall.
- Confirm the specification. Compare the measurements with the instructions for the exact adjustable RenoEZ model.
- Prepare the opening. Mark level lines and cut only after the model specification and cavity conditions are confirmed.
- Seat and inspect. Install the spring retention according to the model instructions and confirm the face sits flat.
Do not assume exact fit
“Adjustable” describes the retention system. It does not establish a universal cutout range, wall-thickness allowance, or installation tolerance.
