Spring Click installation

How to install a Spring Click access panel

The RenoEZ 6×6 package can be unfolded and used as a cutout template. Other sizes must follow their exact instructions.

Before you mark the wall

Read the instructions supplied with the exact RenoEZ panel. The nominal face size is not a universal cutout dimension. Inspect the cavity for pipes, wiring, framing, and other obstructions before cutting.

Installation sequence

  1. Confirm the model. Read the instructions for the exact RenoEZ size. Do not infer a cutout from nominal dimensions alone.
  2. Inspect the cavity. Locate plumbing, wiring, framing, and other obstructions before marking or cutting drywall.
  3. Mark and cut. For the 6×6 Spring Click model, the package instructions say to unfold and trim the dotted lines for use as a template.
  4. Lift the clips. Lift the spring clips upward as shown in the product instructions.
  5. Seat the panel. Place the inside edge at the bottom of the opening and press the panel against the wall.
  6. Confirm removal. Pull from opposite corners as shown in the instructions and make sure future service access remains practical.

Finish and future access

The Spring Click packaging states that the face can be painted or wallpapered. Keep the panel perimeter identifiable so future service teams can find and remove it without damaging the finish.

Important limitation

This guide explains the visible RenoEZ packaging sequence. It does not replace the current technical specification or an inspection of concealed conditions.

Choose the panel after the opening is confirmed.
